jess,
you addressed this in the same manner of that i feel.
your words are perhaps a bit more eloquent
than mine would have been...
but i'm in your boat, darlin'.
as much as i love some of my social networking
and the incredible ability to do most anything via the internet...
for the most part, it all scares the hell out of me.
things like this being one of the reasons.
i could go on forever, but i won't =] lucky you.
i'm glad you posted this though.

You can feel free to "go on" anytime, Keri! I think it's really important that we as artists and especially as human beings remember that the world doesn't revolve around only one view point, and tread lightly whenever we consider imposing rules such as this. After all, has history taught us nothing about mob mentality?

Thanks for the comment. :)

Hi, I also must applaud you for a very well written and thought provoking piece on that story. I believe that we must ensure and protect our right to express ourselves in any form or shape, meaning as long as we don't persecute others. On the web you meet all sorts of scary things and the mass hatred and mobs are part of that. So good on you!
best reg, Anna Brindelöv,Sweden
